At 2am, on Thursday, April 30, we woke up to go on an exciting expedition, a night hike to Nachal Chaverim. We all had an amazing time. We hiked under the bright stars of the desert, and watched the sun rise. Our night hike symbolized a trek from darkness to light, just as we as a group, and Israel as a country just experienced - from the darkness of Yom Hazikaron to the light of Yom Haazmaut (Israel’s Independence Day).
