Bedouin Tent
Bedouin Tent
On Wednesday afternoon we got back on our busses and headed for the Negev. In Be’erotayim we walked in the footsteps of Abraham and rode camels in the desert, stopping to see the Nabatian ruins and have a spiritual Mincha prayer in the spirit of Isaac our forefather. We enjoyed a traditional Bedouin dinner in the tent and sang around the “kumzits” (campfire) until late. The next morning, after tefilla, we got back on our camels, rode out into the wilderness, and then prepared and ate our own Bedouin-style lunch.
