On Wednesday and Thursday, May 7-8 we celebrated Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) and Yom HaAzmaut (Independance Day). We took part in the memorial service with the whole Chava, and stood for a moment of silence when a siren sounded throughout the country. We celebrated Yom HaAzmaut Israeli style, with a great night out in Jerusalem, and a barbecue on the beach the next day!
